Some issues that Mike's "Buddy" needs to deal with...

First, Mike, thanks for making me an admin, gives me a look at the ACP and the ability to make some changes.  First and foremost was to get rid of that damn Captcha thingy whenever you want to make a post!  Who's the effin moron that stuck that in there?  Next we gotta get BBCode on here so we can post IMG, URL and the like codes instead of just getting a link.

Other shit, but it's a start...

Agreed & Thanks for the Admin title also.

I think we also need to break down the posts into individual boxes, rather than them show up on a blank white page.

Also, we need an edit key for each users posts, mine didn't show up until I was given Admin privileges.

Also think we should get rid of the subject box for replys, have it only for the person who starts the thread otherwise it repeats the first line of your post.

Possibly some differnt font styles and colors for posting?

Maybe down the road we could add some smilies for the posts?

All in all, it's a good product with some bugs to iron out. To be expected for a new forum.

reel,

Disabled that myself as well, hope we're not stepping on each other all over the place here!!

I can send Mike the odes for smileys, but I don't see where I can upload them on the ACP, maybe just have to look a little deeper.  And no BBCode?  We wanna see pics, not links...

Hmm, back to the drawing board...Hey, got the quote and edit functions in there, or did you guys do that?

That is a good thing...

  • There is a button in the editor to place an image. It is the 9th image from the left.
  • URLs are automatically converted to links. Example www.google.com, therefore there is no need for the BBCode URL tag.
  • The subject field has been removed from the comments.

Well Bob, why wouldn't you be able to put the photo bucket picture to your desk top and the upload...

What I will say is I am starting to get used to this site and just posted pictures of my re-do, I have NEVER seen such a GOOD attachment set-up as JIM put here, you can move them around and organize easy...

If what you are asking him to do, would in any way change the way we load stuff at the bottom of the pages, Then the answer is ....NO  "JIM DONT DO IT"devil

Not really change anything, just allow you to also use Photobucket or a similiar Image Hosting service, then you could add pics to your signature, posts, etc...

Also need some way to isolate our signatures from our posts. In other words, if you post several pictures, it moves or breaks up your signature. I had to rearange my pics in another post, mostly trial and error, because it had broken my signature up into several parts.
