Not sure if they will show up, but there was a Blackfin 23 from about 1976 until 1980

Also a 39 from about 1979 until probably 1984.

Well it's officially official after many weeks.  Couple months actually.  I close tomorrow on my new to me Blackfin 29 Flybridge that is in Bay Shores, NY.  doublethumbsup

Had the P&S signed and a good deposit hanging in the balance so I wasn't backing out but we had LOTS of negotiations and a few pitfalls after the survey.  The original owners were extremely cooperative and I wish them well.

A HUGE amount of thanks goes out to Mike for talking me through it and guiding me.  LI32 for some of his input and even a few bozos on that "other" forum known as THT.  wink

This site is incredible and such a huge tool for owners of older boats like us.   I'm fairly confident that I am no different from anyone in just how much I appreciate this place.

Really hope I have the chance to meet some of the names I see here at a rendezvous or maybe a seminar someday.

Thanks to everyone for the input along the way.

So now my biggest dilemma will be Simrad or Furuno...lol...

That's interesting and congrats to you as well.... How is it that you are closing in the spring?  Do you have a deposit on one now?

Or did I read it wrong and you're saying you closed already last spring?
